Tribute

Bill was a devoted son, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend to many. He was born in Brady TX, but lived in AZ from when he was a baby. He grew up in a loving home with 4 siblings. Bill served in the Army and was in Japan after WW2; he tells stories of how much he enjoyed the country of Japan and its people. He married Jean in 1954 and took his three children to First Baptist Church each week. Bill worked in the WESD for 36 years and taught 8th-grade science. He was a present and active dad and a loving spouse. He took his family camping every summer and he and his wife loved the White Mountains of AZ. The family listed below will be celebrating his life in Greer over Memorial Weekend in May. We plan to visit some of our mom and dad's favorite places (Mount Baldy, Sheep's Crossing, Wynn Campground.) He will forever be in our hearts!
