He was born in the San Francisco Bay Area and has lived in the Tri-Cities, Washington; Texas, Louisiana, and for the last 18 years, Chehalis, Washington. From California, the Pearson family moved to the Tri-Cities where Tim graduated from Richland High School. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree from Houston Baptist University while competing as a Division 1 gymnast. Tim went on to complete his Master’s & Doctorate degrees in Social Work at the University of Texas at Arlington while working full-time. He worked at the University of North Texas, taught at Louisiana State University, and has provided his ‘Data Wizard’ talents to Washington State Health Care Authority for the last 18 years. Tim loved being outdoors, projects big and small, helping people understand data, and was an all-around puzzle solver. He was continually researching, planning, and analyzing for the next adventure, usually with Chad Jones. Tim always had a side gig: gymnastics coach, drummer, kolache baker, farmer, builder, drum teacher, awning inventor, data consultant, and volunteer for many Christian ministries locally and abroad. Tim and Erica met in Texas in 1990 and have been married and ventured for nearly 32 years. He was an amazing father to Joshua and Joy for 22 years.
