Randolph Samuel Berridge known as Uncle to all, peacefully passed away on January 6th, 2025, at home with family in Peoria, Arizona at the age of 89. He was born on March 4th, 1935, in Brooklyn, New York. Randolph Berridge led a remarkable life filled with achievements and profound experiences. With a BA in Science and a master's degree in computer science, he dedicated himself to education and excelled in his career as a Captain in the US Air Force as a distinguished Meteorologist. His passion for the sciences was evident in all aspects of his life. Not only was Randolph a man of knowledge and intellect, but he also possessed a gentle demeanor that left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing him. He was often described as astute and soft-spoken, qualities that endeared him to many. In addition to his successful career, Randolph had a deep love for music, dancing, reading good food, and nature. He enjoyed collecting music and was passionate about conservation efforts, leaving a legacy of environmental awareness and appreciation for the world around us. Randolph was preceded in death by his wife, Pearl Berridge, his brother William Odlum, his sister Arlet Lovick, Bill and Curtis Odlum, he is survived by his loving family members, including nephew, Rodney & Susan Odlum, his nieces, Lynette Kennedy, and Yvonne Rashied. Along with grand nieces and nephews, his sister-in-law Mary Olowofoyeku her husband Akin along with their adult Yemisi, Eniola and their son Akintola. His memory will forever be cherished by those who knew and loved him. Randolph's final wish was for his remains to be placed with his wife at the Southern Nevada Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City, a fitting resting place for a man who served his country with honor and dedication. He also selflessly donated his body to Science Care, ensuring that his passion for knowledge and discovery lives on even beyond his passing. From his early days spent immersed in books to his time in the military and his contributions to the fields of meteorology and conservation, Randolph led a life that inspired and touched many. He will be remembered for his kindness, intelligence, and unwavering dedication to his beliefs. May his legacy endure in the hearts of those who knew him, and may his spirit continue to guide us in appreciating the wonder and beauty of the world around us. Rest in peace, Randolph, (Uncle) a true gentleman and a remarkable soul. Heaven has recalled one of its beloved angels.
