Tribute

Phil was the second child of four. He was a very gifted, passionate, and loving person. He taught himself to read (as a toddler) sitting on the stairs reading the Encyclopaedia Britannica. In elementary school, instead of going to a reading group, he read books like Ivanhoe. Phil obtained numerous degrees including a PhD in psychology, an MD, and JD. He did medical research for many years. He wore his heart on his sleeve and couldn't understand the injustice experienced by himself and others. He sought to help others throughout his life. He had his faith firmly planted with God and Our Lord Jesus Christ. One of his greatest joys was singing God's praise as a member of the church choir, a cantor, and a soloist. With his final illness he had hoped to get better so that he could return to singing. We are sure he has joined the Heavenly Chorus. We thought that donating his remains would be a fitting tribute to him.

Friends & Family

He is survived by his two sisters Margaret Kober and Barbara Kober.
