Tribute
I want to take the time to honor my father, a former Marine and the best father a son could ever have. As a single father, he worked so hard to take care of me, making sure there was a roof over my head, a bed to sleep in, and food in my stomach. If I wanted or needed something, he would do whatever to get it for me. We had such a bond over baseball with him being my baseball coach throughout my life. I should have been smart and stuck with baseball. Growing up I became somewhat of a rebel with all the nonsense and stupidity I did and caused. I knew I was gonna be in trouble. But in the end, he was always there for me because I was his little buddy and we always had each other. I'm 40 now and up until recently, it was always him and me. We were really close with such a strong bond that anyone who knew us knew how strong it was. Even in passing it will always be there. He also touched the lives of so many. With his big heart and smile he just drew attention to him. I just had no idea there were so many he touched. The outpouring of support after he passed was so many. With that said I love you Dad so very much. Can't wait to play catch again.
