Tribute

Mary Steinberg was a very caring and giving person. She enjoyed decorating for Christmas and baked her popular cut-out and icing Christmas cookies, fudge, divinity, and popcorn balls to box up and share with family and friends. We remember her and Uncle Bob’s paint-athon when they painted the inside of the house in bright colors. It was the 70’s! She attended Rosenberg Beauty School and we laugh about the time she permed the hair of the entire family. There was also the time she mixed the perm solution wrong, she put it on a lady, walked away, turned around and the lady's hair was smoking. They both survived. LOL She enjoyed dancing. She was a San Antonio Spurs fan and was always excited when there was a game to watch. A special thanks to her family and friends who helped her through some tough times during the end of her cancer fight. Candy and Jim Castillo, Mary Tibbs, and Janice Bonner.

Friends & Family

She was preceded in death by her father Ray Miller and mother Aileen Miller, as well as brothers Larry and Anthony. She is survived by daughter Kim Cooley and her husband Duwayne, and son Steve Smith and his wife Wendy, and grandson Devin Smith.
