Tribute

Marie Holden passed away peacefully last week. Fiercely independent her whole life, she worked over 50 years as an RN and only gave up driving at the age of 90. Marie was a devoted football fan and spent Christmas watching the games and debating the merits of the quarterbacks, the coaching staff, and the upcoming NFL draft. She also loved classical music, opera, marching bands, and the Hallmark Channel. Marie was preceded in death by her parents, brother Mike, husband Frank and George, and son Eric. She is survived by sons Greg (Laura,) Mark (Virgie,) daughter-in-law Lynne(the late Eric,) 9 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.
