Gwyn was born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to Lois Tarpley Dunham, and William Louis Dunham, Sr. Employed by American Airlines for 36 years, she resided in NYC for the past 22 years. Gwyn was an accomplished musician, photographer, poet, animal and nature lover, scuba diver, adventuress, and music enthusiast. She was fearless! Gwyn was known for her zest for life, sense of humor, and love for family and friends.

Gwyn was preceded in death by her mother, Lois; father, William; and brother, Bill. She is survived by her sisters, Carrah Lee, Judith and Jane; nieces, Misty, Stacia, Gwynlon, and Tracy; nephews, Cullan, Barrie Lynn, and Julian; great nieces, Scarlett, Savannah, and London; great nephews, Yamato and Leo. She had many aunts, uncles and cousins!
