Lupe M. Garcia was the Matriarch of her family as the firstborn to her parents, Aurelio Meza and Wilfrida Sanchez. Born in Durango, Mexico with an earnest desire to come to the United States, she achieved her goal and became a U.S. citizen. She was an entrepreneur and a visionary. She exuded confidence in the workplace and was highly applauded for her exemplary work ethic. Lupe was an honorable member of society and enjoyed the commendations of all of those she came in contact with. Her faith gave her strength to overcome life's challenges. A virtuous woman (Prov 31) and mother, more precious than rubies - Prov. 3:15-18. She was loved by her numerous siblings and extended family who deeply respected and admired her. Lupe has left an indelible legacy to her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She will be deeply missed!
