Tribute

Linda passed at age 72 after being married for 50 years to her husband Robert and having two children and 5 grandchildren. After graduating high school in Maryland she met Robert in 1973 in Washington, DC and they married on May 11, 1974. Due to Robert being in the Air Force, she was able to travel and see most of the United States, living in Delaware, Minnesota, Mississippi, and California before spending another 4 years in England, where her Mother and Aunt would come to visit. From there she would visit Paris, Venice, Austria, and other parts of Europe. Upon Roberts' retirement from the Air Force in 1992 they moved to Rockledge, Florida where she watched her children grow, finish school, and begin their lives and bear her 5 grandchildren. Fortunately, both children ended up living relatively close for the 32 years Linda lived in Rockledge, and she was able to see her grandchildren often. After 16 years working as Assistant Ticket Manager at the King Center for the Performing Arts in Melbourne, FL she retired and took on new duties with the Space Coast Parrot Heads Club, serving as Membership Chairman for some years and always promoting 'Party With A Purpose' to everyone she would meet. She also had and met many friends at Patrick Space Force Base Marina and Tiki Bar, where just about any Friday night she could be found listening to music and socializing. She also loved cruising and took many trips to the Caribbean, especially those with a Trop Rock music theme. She will be missed by all who loved and knew her.
