Leroy Lewis
Tribute
Leroy Lewis was the sweetest, most generous man ever! He was talented in many ways: a butcher by trade, his career included being an excellent student, baseball pitcher who won awards, sports fisherman, a carpenter who built an entire subdivision in Ft Worth, market owner/manager, evangelist, and Gospel singer who traveled the US with quartets in which he was the bass. Crafts kept him busy in retirement: he made jewelry, wooden western crafts and clocks, and wonderful wind catchers called whirligigs. Leroy was a faithful husband and father, friend, and most of all witness and representative for his Lord Jesus Christ. He is in heaven now but sorely missed by his wife, children, and grandchildren. It is typical of Leroy to donate his body to help others after he doesn’t need it anymore!
