Tribute

Our brother John has passed after battling seven years of health issues from a series of heart attacks and strokes. John resided for the past two years at Windsor El Camino care home in Carmichael. John was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico. When John was at the age of eleven our parents moved to California, where John lived up to his death. John as a teenager was very independent, some may say he was rebellious. Most of his life he spent as a bachelor and never had children. John made his living in the Sacramento area as an owner-operator truck driver, mostly hauling gravel and dirt. Due to an injured rotator cuff, he had to retire from truck driving in 2001. John enjoyed fishing, was a pet lover, and loved spending time with family and friends. John was everybody’s friend, always had a smile and had his own style of jokes. He had a talent to get us to laugh! I think anyone who spent time with John could say they will remember the good times! Feb 28,1951-April 12,2023 We will miss our brother!
