Tribute

John grew up in Manassas, VA. He was the 2nd born of 4 children. He had an older brother (predecessors) and a younger brother and sister. He suffered a car accident through no fault of his own and was disabled and in pain after that. He moved to Florida to be close to his parents almost 20 years ago. They lived in Land O’Lakes. He later moved to Port Richey where he lived with his friend and roommate for over 10 years. John was a sweet kindhearted teddy bear of a man. He would give you the shirt off of his back. He always saw the world through a unique lens that brought laughter to all he talked to. He never met a stranger and was a lifelong friend to many. He was a Christian and loved Jesus. He passed at the age of 61. He now resides in Heaven with our mother and father. His loss is so painful. I’m his sister and I love who he was. We will meet again, my beloved brother.

Predeceased by his loving parents, John Cole, Sr. and Sandra LaFontaine Cole, and an older brother Greg Cole, he is survived by one brother, Brian Cole, and sister Lesa (Cole) Rhoton. He is also survived by 10 nieces and nephews, 6 grandnieces and grandnephews, and many many cousins. He is also survived by many lifetime loyal friends who love who he was and will never forget him.
