Tribute

Terry was my high school sweetheart in 1984. He took me to my junior prom. Due to circumstances at the time, we were separated and I never saw him again until August 2020. At that time, he had already had one stroke and was blind and disabled. It didn't matter to me because I was in love with his mind and heart, his soul and spirit. We got married in September 2022. Sadly, only got to enjoy one anniversary. His passing was peaceful and private, just the two of us, and he didn't have to worry about being alone. He loved music, karaoke, fishing, and working on cars. He also enjoyed shows like Street Outlaws and Ice Road Truckers. He especially loved Johnny Cash. He was very knowledgeable about auto mechanics and even though blind, could still help someone work on their car. Lastly and most importantly, Terry loved God and believed in Him. He loved Jesus. Faith and prayer mattered to him. He told me he loved me every day and many a time in the hospital, when I asked him how he was doing, he would say "Better, now that you are here."
