Tribute

From his sister with love, this tribute is for James Ulysses (like the general 😊) Jackson. Jay was a practicing Christian and a true patriot. Although he often would rail against our country’s many hiccups, such as bigotry and racism (which he experienced often throughout his life), he would never hold a grudge against the country at large -- always standing strong for the Stars and Stripes. He had the mind of a mechanic and was good at problem-solving mechanical malfunctions. He loved life and had a sense of humor that allowed him to laugh at the least sophisticated gag or joke – which made it easy and fun to crack him up. He was handsome, generous, and a good brother. I miss him, but I rest assured in my heart that I shall see him again.
