Tribute

George was my husband, father to 4 children, and grandfather to 12 grandchildren. He was a hard-working and Christian man. He loved camping in the mountains, fishing in a mountain stream, being with friends, prison ministry, and good food. His idea of good food was fried potatoes, chicken fried steak, and chocolate pie! He took good care of me, his wife, in many ways. He was never too tired to run an errand for me or help me around the house. He loved Jesus and wanted everyone to know the forgiveness and love he had found in his relationship with Jesus. He loved to talk and his stories were often elaborate. He faced ALS with great courage! He became sweeter every day and always said thank you to anyone who helped him in any way. He faced death bravely as well and looked forward to seeing Jesus and being pain/ free. He lived with chronic pain most of his life. He is missed. I’ll never go a day without missing him!
