Eva Jeppson
Tribute
Eva Mae Strehlow-Jeppson, born on June 28, 1944, in Dickinson, ND, passed away peacefully on April 4, 2025 after living a full and impactful life. Eva’s family moved to Willmar, MN, after spending three years on the family farm in North Dakota. She graduated from Willmar High School in 1962. She then attended Concordia College in Moorhead, MN, where she earned a degree in Sociology and Social Work in 1966. Eva dedicated her early professional life to social work, serving communities in Larimer County, CO, and Waukesha County, WI. She later transitioned to a career in real estate, where she spent 30 years helping clients in the Twin Cities area. Throughout her life, Eva’s true passion was supporting others; she was a relentless volunteer, supporting more causes than can be listed here. She devoted countless hours to advocating for refugees coming to the United States and was a steadfast supporter of the Democratic Party. Eva had a heart for the underdog and the less fortunate, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. Eva was a very competitive game player, she loved all types of card and board games with family and friends but especially Russian Rummy, Hand and Foot, Scrabble, or really any game that she could convince you to sit at the table to play with her for hours. Eva is survived by her beloved husband Mark (and their cat, Chaz), her daughter Erin (Chris), son Nathan (Julie), grandchildren Ellie and Aaron, as well as her brothers Norman (Betty) and Ross (Pauline) all of whom will miss her greatly. A celebration of Eva’s life will be held on June 29, 2025, at 2:00 pm at the TPC Clubhouse in Blaine, MN. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Stepping Stone Emergency Housing or to the Anoka County Humane Society in Eva’s memory.
