Tribute

Our mother passed away peacefully in her sleep on Jan. 22, 2025, while under hospice care. She was born in Tecolotlan, Jalisco, and became a permanent US resident in the 70's. Although she didn't get her credentials to continue being a teacher in Los Angeles, CA she had numerous jobs in retail, clay maker, housekeeper, and caregiver. Her hobbies were knitting and baking and she was by far the most creative person I knew. She loved the outdoors and loved walking her dogs. Our mom was initially given only 6 months to live back in 2021. We're grateful that she was able to stay with us as long as she could. She touched many lives even until her last days. Mom will forever be in our hearts and will be missed tremendously.
