Tribute

In memory of Edie, mom, my mom passed away on March 25th, 2025 Tuesday morning at 11 AM. She passed on my father's birthday. I think there is something very special that occurred. They had a wonderful marriage, his second and her first and only he lost his battle with cancer. Too early at 54 years old, I was 11, she was 32. She was always there for my younger brother and me when she went to work. Paid the house off prepared us to go out finish school, get jobs, and start our families. We weren't perfect. By any stretch, but who is she was born on June 5th, 1925, and knows how about 2 months shy of the century mark even after 20-something years at Safeway bakery in Davis, California, she volunteered for Meals on Wheels delivering to the elderly folks and also went back to work at skilled nursing and their kitchen. Mopping and? Washing pots and pans and another 10 years. She outlived 2 brothers, Chester and Paul. And 2 sisters Glen and Gracie. She was a fine mother and grandmother. Great-grandmother, a sister, aunt cousin. To so many lucky people. Oh yeah, a loving wife, someone, you wouldn't be too far off. By saying now, that is a special person that I can call a special individual, she was a cat lover, buddy, and hobo. Also many dogs cap. Buck Betty Zeus Capone Kobe and Tuffy. Even a few fish and reptiles, she wouldn't even harm a fly that came inside the torment, the rest of us. I wanted to end the fly's short life. She made a decorated she made and decorated countless cakes cookies and so many other suites we always had something to enjoy. While coming inside for a snack there was another man in her life that came from me and my wife, a special kind of person. My young son, Anthony Allen Cordoza, and I had a bond together. They took care of each other. So many grandchildren and loved them so much. But for whatever reason it was Tony, I'm Grandma. Eddie that stood out. He was there for her when nobody else was. Could okay? I could go on but I don't have enough room or paper to write all the wonderful things. She had a part in all her friends and relatives' lives. Even people she didn't know in closing. I want to say we miss you. Mom and hope to meet up again with all my love. Your son, Gary Allencorza, April 6th, 2025.
