Tribute

DuWayne was larger than life. He was a big guy, and also big-hearted! He led a full life and worked hard, he also played hard! In earlier years, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and socializing. He would speak to anybody, and everybody...wanting to be liked and heard. He was fortunate to receive a liver transplant at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2011. (If we had a nickel for every time he told that story, we would be millionaires!) He and his wife enjoyed 58 years together, raising 2 fine boys, and left behind 4 grandchildren, 2 great-grandsons, and 1 great granddaughter. We will truly miss him!
