Tribute

Daughter of Henry Robert Shell, and Dorothy Mae Shell. Dorothy and her sister Marilyn grew up in and traveled throughout California as minister’s daughters. She graduated from Analy High School, class of 1969. She met Dennis E. Thayer in 1973, & was married in 1976 (Divorced 1997). She joined the early tech world at NCI, then moved to Hewlett-Packard, and finally Agilent before ending her 20+ years in the industry in 2002. She loved all things green and gravitated towards that industry in its early days. She had a green thumb & loved to share her things with others. She was a firm believer in giving freely to the universe; a positive person who knew that, “In giving to the universe, it will come back to you!” She was a hard worker, & excelled with detailed work. She loved to remind us all, “To be safe in your travels!” She is survived by her Daughter, Christina, Son, Douglas, & her Grandson, Isiah. She will be loved & missed by all those that knew her & her kindness… She was a good friend & a great mother.
