Tribute

David Wayne Clark passed away on June 18th, 2023, at the home he shared with his sister and their three dogs in Cape Coral, Florida. Dave was born on August 21st, 1965, and raised in Vallejo, California, from a young age. He graduated in 1988 from the University of California, Santa Barbara, with a BA in Business Economics and Sociology. He received his MBA with an Emphasis in Organizational Development from Syracuse University in 1991. Dave spent his career as a human resource leader in numerous companies, including Hewlett-Packard, Microsoft, Cisco, and Realogy. He also served as the President of the internet start-up JGuru. Dave was truly a great friend, a kind and giving person, and a champion for everyone around him. Dave had the ability to make everyone feel special and was an empathetic and thoughtful listener, particularly to his AA friends in the Bay Area. He loved watching movies and could recite his favorite lines at a moment's notice. He also kept people laughing with a witty comeback or humorous response whenever possible. Even in his worst days, that generosity of spirit was still in him. He meant so much to all of us and will be greatly missed. Dave was a caring person and asked that his organs be utilized to help others and that his ashes be spread in the ocean near Santa Barbara.
