Tribute
In Loving Memory of Clement Francis Anthony Wright: Clement Francis Anthony Wright, born April 29, 1961, in Harmons, Manchester, Jamaica, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2024. He was the cherished son of the late Elfreda Clementina Reid Wright and Clement Leroy Wright. In 1971, Clement, along with his siblings Jennifer and Locksley, migrated to the United States to reunite with their parents and other family members in Brooklyn, New York. From a young age, Clement demonstrated an exceptional work ethic and determination. He continued to support himself tirelessly throughout his life, up until a few months before his passing. In later years, Clement moved to South Florida to be closer to his siblings. His intelligence and boundless energy left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. Clement is lovingly remembered by his significant other, Latoya, and his children: Evelyn, Kayla, Tiara, and Clement III.He is survived by three loving grandchildren, and he is also survived by his siblings Jennifer, Lewis, Melodie, Neil, and Murdina, and was preceded in death by his brother Locksley Wright. His extended family, including numerous nieces, nephews, and other loved ones, grieves deeply for his loss. Our dear Clement, affectionately known as Clem, was a vibrant presence in our lives. His laughter, jokes, and favorite dishes are fondly remembered. The void left by his passing is immense, but the love and joy he brought into our lives will never be forgotten. We find solace in the memory of the good times we shared and the special place he will forever hold in our hearts. As we mourn his loss, we find comfort in the words of Jesus from Matthew 11:28: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” We also find hope in Romans 6:23: “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life.” Though Clement’s earthly journey has ended, we believe he now rests in the eternal peace of God’s kingdom. Clement will be deeply missed, loved beyond words, and remembered forever in our hearts. A celebration of life for Clem will be held in the near future.
